The CEO of Thanksgiving
While the day suggests a posting on gratitude, I cannot help but provide this link to a light hearted but well written piece from the New York times on applying leadership to planning for a family Thanksgiving celebration.
Even in the midst of financial upheaval and daily bad news about the economy and war around the globe, I am thankful for the amount we have to be thankful for. I realize that many of you are not Americans and that Thanksgiving is a uniquely US holiday (at least the one we observe today). However, if you are reading this then by definition you have much to be thankful for as well. You can read, have a functional mind, access to the internet, electricity and on and on.
So whether you will be breaking bread with friends and family tomorrow, or are scratching your head about why we choose turkey at the Thanksgiving day table- this day, like any, is a great day to be grateful.
